Spring Lake Girls Golf Wins Conference Championship at The Ravines The Spring Lake girls golf team continued its stellar season by capturing the OK Black Conference Championship last Thursday at The Ravines Golf Club. The Lakers posted a team score of 364 (+76) to finish well ahead of runner-up Holland Christian (378) and clinch the conference title in convincing fashion. Senior Finlay Cousineau led the way for Spring Lake, earning individual medalist honors with an impressive round of 83 (+11). Senior Casey Ireland finished third overall with a 92 (+20), while senior Ellie Cavalier carded a 94 (+22) to place fifth. Junior Reia Wiseman added a steady 95 (+23), and junior Reagan Bennett followed closely with a 96 (+24). Senior Anna Bonney rounded out the lineup at 97 (+25), giving the Lakers six golfers inside the top dozen. The victory capped off a strong conference season for the Lakers, who carried that momentum into this week’s regional championship at Peninsula Golf Course.
