The Lakers traveled to Zeeland West tonight for an OK Conference re-match and lost in 3 sets with the scores of 25-22, 13-25, 10-15. We struggled to get our offense going this evening to win this match. Calla Barber had 5 kills on the night and Simer Baria added 4. We only served 87% as a team in serving. Harper Bennett led the team with 2 service aces and also had 15 digs. Kristine Marine led us in digs with 16. Sierra Lukas led the team in assists with 8 total for the match. Leading us defensively at the net blocking was Melanie Goetzinger, Abbie Andree, and Sierra Lukas with 2 blocks each. Our overall record is now 16-12-2 and we are now 4-4 in the OK Conference. We are off the rest of this week and our next match is at home on Monday, October 13th vs Unity Christian @ 5pm
