Lakers Defeat Holland in Conference Play The Spring Lake varsity boys tennis team secured a strong 5-3 win over Holland on Tuesday evening, powered by a sweep of the singles lineup and a key doubles victory. The Lakers controlled play on the singles courts. At No. 2 singles, Alex Dull dominated his match with a 6-1, 6-1 win. James Priddy followed with the same score at No. 3, and Isaac Schaal closed out the sweep at No. 4 with a decisive 6-2, 6-1 victory. Spring Lake added two more points in doubles. The No. 3 team of Adam Ridlington and Alex Richards rolled to a 6-1, 6-1 win, while the No. 4 pairing of Joshua Ridlington and Jonah VanHoeven claimed a straight-set victory as well. The Lakers nearly added another point at No. 1 doubles, where Nate Pawlak and Matthew Truszkowski battled through three sets before dropping a tightly contested match in a third-set tiebreak. The win gives Spring Lake another boost in conference play as the season continues to build momentum.
