The JV Volleyball Team opened their season on Thursday night and went 1-1 at the Tri @ Grand Haven Won vs Reeths- Puffer ~ 22-25, 25-23, 15-11 Lost vs Grand Haven ~ 27-29, 25-18, 15-17 The Lakers played well for the first matches of the 2025 season. Leading us in kills for the night were Natalie VanLoo (11) and Calla Barber (9). We served very strong as a team and Abbie Andree led the team with 8 service aces. Kristen Marine led the team defensively with a team high 22 digs. The team also blocked very well and had a total of 15 blocks on the night with Melanie Goetzinger leading the team with 5 blocks. Leading us in the assists were Sierra Lukas with 23 and Kellen Armey with 11. Our next matches are this Saturday at the Coopersville Invitational @ 9am.
