The Spring Lake Lakers have guaranteed themselves at least a share of the OK Black Conference Championship with a 2-0 home victory against Holland Christian. Ryan Grimm was the winning pitcher throwing 6 2/3 innings allowing six hits, walking one and striking out 12. Oliver Smies came in with two outs in the top of the 7th with runners on 2nd and 3rd and got a strikeout to end the game. The home team scored in the bottom of the first when Jaden Core singled, moved to second on a balk and scored on an RBI single from Oliver Smies. Spring Lake added an insurance run in the bottom of the 6th when Max Feltner walked, pinch runner Mason Roll moved to second on a balk, Owen Smies singled Roll to third who then scored on an infield single by Alex Batka.
