In a battle of two of the top three teams in the OK Black standings, Spring Lake got the upper hand with a 4-1 victory in game one. Starting pitcher Maddux Kipling was dominating on the mound throwing a complete game allowing one unearned run, striking out nine and walking zero. The Lakers trailed 1-0 entering the 6th inning when they took a 2-1 lead and added two insurance runs in the 7th for the win. Kipling helped his own cause with 2 hits while Max Feltner had 2 RBI's.
