Girl's track and field had a great day at WMC on Wednesday taking first out of nine teams! Individual first place finishes were recorded by Reese Cooper (100m dash), Amelia Arnold (200m dash), Cora Parker (400m dash), Lexi Kotkowicz (3200m run), Macy Subka (300m hurdles), Hannah Brown (shot put, discus), and Mari Nienhouse (pole vault). All four relays took first. The 4x100m relay was comprised of Hannah Brown, Scarlet Zoet-Hardy, Reese Cooper, and Katie Olson. The 4x200m and 4x400m relays were comprised of Amelia Arnold, Macy Subka, Cora Parker, and Meghan Guczwa. The 4x800m relay was comprised of Lexi Kotkowicz, Shannon Losee, Bethany Zimmerman, and Kaleigh Clark. Rounding out the scoring were 29 second through eighth place finishes for a total of 261 points on the night with 26 athletes contributing. These ladies are back in action April 18th at the Rockford Ram Classic.
