The Spring Lake Lakers defeated the Sparta Spartans 11-0 in 5 innings in game one of a chilly doubleheader. Maddux Kipling got the win pitching 4 innings striking out 3 and allowing one hit. Max Feltner led the Spring Lake offense with 2 hits, 2 runs and 2 RBI's while Reid Grimmer added 2 hits and drove in three runs. Oliver Smies and Alex Batka each scored two runs for the Lakers.
