Varsity vs FOREST HILLS CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL (8 - 10) Loss The Lady Lakers varsity lacrosse team lost a tough 10-8 contest to the Rangers from Forest Hills Central on Monday. The Lakers fought throughout the back and forth game but couldn't seem to get the ball to bounce their way. Leading Spring Lake in goals was Micah Gawronski with 4 goals. Stafford Sieracki added 2 goals while Sophia Clark and Claire Arnold each added a goal. The defense kept the Lakers close and was led by goalie Elena Robinson with 4 saves. Defenders Becca Blausey, Ellie Wrona, Ava Hook, Riley Johnson, and Emily Riemersma were solid in defense and middie Brooke Stephenson was all over the field helping the Lakers. Next up for the Lakers is a road game at Grand Rapids Catholic Central on Monday.
