Spring Lake jumped out to an early 7- 0 lead, but could not hold off a fierce Hamilton comeback, falling to the Hawkeyes 10-9 on a Hamilton walk off victory. Jaden Core led the Laker hit parade with 3 hits and 2 runs, while Gabe Trask had 2 hits (a triple and a double) and scored 3 runs and Oliver Smies had 2 hits including a 3 run homer. Max Feltner and Alex Batka each had two hits as well. Reid Grimmer pitched well getting the start going 4 innings with 6 strikeouts. Oliver Smies took the loss in relief. Spring Lake only allowed 3 earned runs out of the 10 that Hamilton scored.
