Varsity vs CALEDONIA HIGH SCHOOL (19 - 5) Win The Lady Laker Varsity lacrosse team traveled to Caledonia on Friday and came back with a 19-5 victory. Leading the Lakers in goals was Micah Gawronski with 5 goals. Claire Arnold and Brooke Stephenson also added 3 goals each . Sophia Clark chipped in with 2 goals while Abbey Rogalski, Addy Laug, Stafford Sieracki, Aubrey Llewellyn, Mallory Martinez and Casey Ireland each added a goal. The goals by Ireland, Rogalski, and Laug were their first varsity goals. Sieracki was also a huge factor on the offensive end with her smooth passing and ended with 4 assists. Defensively the Lakers were solid and got great contributions from defenders Ellie Wrona, Becca Blausey, Riley Johnson, Ava Hook, and Emily Riemersma. In net Elena Robinson and Noelle Wiedenhoeft stymied an aggressive Caledonia offense and allowed only 5 goals. Next up for the Lakers is a home conference game against Forest Hills Central on Monday.
