The Spring Lake Lakers defeated the Hamilton Hawkeyes in game one of an OK Black doubleheader, 5-0. Maddux Kipling was the winning pitcher throwing 6 innings, allowing 3 hits, no runs while striking out 10. Max Feltner gave the home team some breathing room when he hit a three run homer in the bottom of the fifth to increase the Laker lead from 2-0 to 5-0. Jaden Core scored two runs and Owen Smies had a two run single.
