Varsity vs GRAND HAVEN HIGH SCHOOL (17 - 4) Win Your Lady Lakers lacrosse team opened up the 2025 season with a 17-4 victory over the Grand Haven Buccaneers at home on Monday. Leading the Lakers with 4 goals each was Stafford Sieracki and Micah Gawronski. Aubrey Llewellyn added 3 goals, while Sophia Clark added 2. Grace Humphrey, Mallory Martinez, Riley Johnson and Charlie Van Harken each added a goal. The goals by Johnson, Gawronski, Martinez and Van Harken were the first varsity goals by each player. On defense, the Lakers were led by 2 way middie Claire Arnold and by defenders Emily Riemersma, Ellie Wrona, and Becca Blausey. Elena Robinson was strong in net allowing only 2 goals. Next up for the Lady Lakers is a road game at Caledonia on Friday.
