The Hamilton Hawkeyes came out of the gates and put the Lakers on their heels by scoring 21 points on 8-11 shooting including three baskets from long range, enroute to a first quarter lead of 21-9. The home team trailed by eleven points at the half, and then cut the deficit to just two points entering the fourth and final quarter. Spring Lake then outscored Hamilton 12-5 in the fourth quarter for a 46-41 come from behind victory. Spring Lake outscored the Hawkeyes 24-8 in the second half allowing one three point field goal and five made free throws. Jaden Core led the Laker offense with 15 points and 7 rebounds, Reid Grimmer added 13 points 6 rebounds and 3 blocks. 6'5 Ethan Lisman flexed his muscle with 3 second half blocks that ignited the comeback.
