Manistee 143 Saturday, the Spring Lake HS Boys' Swim Team ended Christmas Break on a high note, winning the 2025 Spring Lake Boys Swim /Dive Invitational for the fifth year in a row, earning 565 points. Holt HS was a distant second, with 354 points. The Lakers Swam /Dove to a season-high 26 Personal Records, 7 MISCA Cuts, and 6 D3 State Meet Cuts. Today’s victory is a true test of our Team Depth was a True Team Win! The swim meet gave us a terrific opportunity to see where we are with our training at this early season stage. It is also great to see all the great improvements, Personal Records, and many MISCA/D3 State Time Cuts we are getting so far this year. Wie as Coaching Staff love to see all the Lakers Swimmers/Divers stepping it up and pushing themselves beyond their comfort zones and having fun doing it! Today gives me a lot of confidence going into next when we compete at the D3 Invite @ Holland against some of the best teams in the state in the D#3 Division.
