Mon: 12-30-24@ Jenison HS 48thCurt Pals InvitationalJenisonHS TeamScores 1 Holland Christian 533 2 Spring Lake 348.5 2 Jenison 348.5 4 Battle Creek Lakeview 343 5 Okemos 324 6 Grand Ledge 257 7 Grand Rapids Union 45  On Monday the Spring Lakes HS BoysSwim Team swam strong and battled to second place tie with host Jenison, D3State Ranked Holland Christian were the overall meet champions.  Despite having a quarter of the team missingdue to Christmas Vacations and some battling seasonal colds, the Lakersswam to 23 Personal Record Swims and a few more MISCA/D3 State Cut Times alongthe way. After some good tough trainingover the past few weeks plus Christmas, the TEAM looked tough against some goodand tough competition. It also allowed some swimmers to compete inevents outside their “Comfort Zones” and do well in those events.  We also got to see where we are in ourtraining and what we need to work on to reach our goals. Overall, I was veryproud and happy with how we swam on a Monday morning during Christmas Break.  Great Energy and Great Work!! Great JobGentlemen! Leading the way for the Lakersright off the start was the 200 Medley Relay taking 2nd the team of TylerNutt-Alex Strauss-Graham Porter-Ryan Fisher 1:44.44 MISCA/D3 State Cuts.  Noah Fletcher was a double winner in the 50Free 22.15 and 100 Free 49.48 also a MISCA/D3 State Cuts.  Noah also joined teammates Ryan Fisher,Graham Porter, and Alex Strauss in the 400 Free Relay 2nd Place 3:26.82MISCA/D3 State Cuts. Tyler Nutt took Second in the 100 Back at 1:01.69.
