The Spring Lake Lakers defeated the Ludington Orioles in game one of the Grand Haven Lake Michigan Cup 75-62. Spring Lake was able to open the game up, outscoring the Orioles 15-5 in the third quarter, taking a 54-37 lead into the final eight minutes. Reid Grimmer played his best game of the year scoring 26 points, grabbing 7 rebounds and dishing out 5 assists. Sam Bajt and Jaden Core added 13 and 10 points respectively. While Ayden Ayers and Max Feltner each chipped in with 8 points.
