Junior Varsity vs MONTAGUE HIGH SCHOOL The Spring Lake JV boys defeated Montague 52-24 on Monday night at home. The Lakers led 9-6 at the end of the first quarter and never looked back. Spring Lake played great defense, limiting Montague to less than 10 points each quarter. Spring was led offensively by a quintet of players; Isaac Goosen had 10 points, Jaxson Stegeman and John Westhoff had 9 points, and Tyler Hardy and Gavin Tenhove both had 8 points. Spring Lake is now 2-2 on the season and travels to Fruitport on Thursday.
