The Spring Lake junior varsity girls golf team wrapped up their season with a strong third-place finish at the culminating event, held at Spring Lake Country Club. The Lakers battled through the competition, with several players posting solid individual scores to cap off a successful season. Senior Ceci Esteban led the way for Spring Lake, finishing 3rd overall with a round of 56 (+19). Esteban’s leadership and steady play have been crucial for the JV team throughout the season, and she once again delivered when it mattered most. Sophomore Reia Wiseman followed with a score of 58 (+21), earning 7th place individually, while fellow sophomore Gillian McDonald finished 12th with a round of 60 (+23). Junior Paige Roetman added a round of 68 (+31) to round out the team’s performance, finishing 25th. The Lakers’ third-place finish at this event marks a successful conclusion to the season, with strong performances from all team members. Spring Lake’s JV squad demonstrated growth and resilience throughout the year, and this final result serves as a testament to their hard work and development.
