The Lakers now hold an overall record of 4-13, with a 1-4 standing in conference play. The match against Fremont was a close, hard-fought contest that went to five sets, with Spring Lake finding their rhythm in the middle of the match but falling just short in the deciding set. In the second match against Ludington, tough serving made the difference, allowing the Lakers to cruise to a three-set victory. Spring Lake will look to build on their performance this weekend as they host a 3/5 quad on Saturday, September 28, featuring Livonia Stevenson, Charlotte, and Plainwell.
