Junior Varsity vs Holland Christian Schools (1 - 2) Lost ~ Scores 25-14, 17--25, 12-15 Our JV Laker volleyball team had a home conference match against Holland Christian and lost in 3 exciting and close sets with the scores of 25-14, 17-25, 12-15. Offensively we were led by Amelia Arnold (8 kills), Cameron Morell (6 kills), and Nora Stahl (5 kills). Summer Schafer led the team from the service line with 5 aces. Mari Nienhouse had 18 assists. On defense we were led by Sage Horton with 9 digs along with Summer Schafer and Kelsey Cohoon each with 8 digs. Our middle blockers were strong at the net tonight. Autumn Wahlberg had 4 blocks and Madalynn Hartman had 3 blocks. Ava Nardin also played strong and picked up 5 great tip digs. Our overall record is now 6-7-1 and 1-3 in the OK Conference. Our next match is set for Tuesday, September 24th away at Hamilton HS @ 5pm.
