Lakers golf secures another dominant league victory at Crestview

The Spring Lake girls varsity golf team delivered another outstanding performance, winning today’s league jamboree, hosted by Zeeland West at Crestview Golf Club, by a commanding 18 strokes. The Lakers continued to showcase their depth and skill, with top finishes across the board. Senior Zoe Dull led the charge, posting a remarkable 35 (-1) to claim 1st place. Dull’s under-par round was a key factor in Spring Lake’s runaway victory, as she continues to be the driving force behind the team’s success. Junior Finlay Cousineau followed closely behind, finishing 2nd with a round of 40 (+4), while sophomore Reagan Bennett and junior Casey Ireland both shot 41 (+5), tying for 4th place. The strong performances from all three players helped secure Spring Lake's dominant lead over the competition. Junior Ellie Cavalier added a round of 46 (+10) to finish 11th, and junior Anna Bonney completed the Lakers’ scoring with a 53 (+17), finishing in 19th place. With all six players contributing significantly, the Lakers once again demonstrated their depth and consistency, earning an 18-stroke victory in this crucial league event. As the season continues, Spring Lake remains a dominant force in the league, setting the standard with their outstanding performances. The Lakers will look to build on this success as they head into the next stage of the season with confidence and momentum.
