Boys tennis drops league match against Holland Christian, 1-7

The Spring Lake boys varsity tennis team faced a tough challenge against a strong Holland Christian squad, falling 7-1. In singles play, Alex Dull was the standout performer for Spring Lake, securing the team's lone victory with a 7-5, 6-2 win at No. 4 singles. Despite battling hard, Hudson Braak, Veer Patel, and Nate Pawlak all fell in their respective singles matches. In doubles action, Spring Lake struggled to find its rhythm, with all four pairs dropping their matches. The No. 1 doubles team of Kody Vis and Owen Malaski lost 6-1, 6-0, while Drew Nash and Hale Phillips fought hard but ultimately fell 6-1, 6-4 at No. 2 doubles. Ethan and Eddie Brown, as well as Weston Carpenter and James Priddy, were also unable to overcome their opponents in the No. 3 and No. 4 doubles spots, respectively. Despite the overall loss, Spring Lake showed determination throughout the contest.
