Spring Lake Girls Varsity Golf Dominates OK Black Conference Jamboree

The Spring Lake girls varsity golf team secured a commanding victory at the OK Black Conference jamboree, hosted by Holland Christian, winning by an impressive 14 strokes. The Lakers showcased their depth and consistency once again, with standout individual performances across the board. Senior Zoe Dull led the team, finishing 1st overall with a round of 37 (+1). Dull's steady play continues to set the pace for Spring Lake, delivering yet another top finish as she leads the team throughout the season. Sophomore Reagan Bennett followed closely behind, placing 2nd with a strong round of 38 (+2), demonstrating her growing consistency and ability to perform under pressure. Junior Finlay Cousineau also contributed significantly, finishing 4th with a solid round of 39 (+3). Adding to the Lakers' dominance were juniors Casey Ireland and Ellie Cavalier, who shot 46 (+10) and 47 (+11), respectively, finishing in 8th and 13th place. Junior Anna Bonney tied with Cavalier for 13th, posting another 47 (+11) to round out the team’s impressive showing. With all six golfers finishing in the top 13, Spring Lake’s cohesive effort and depth were on full display. This 14-stroke victory strengthens their position in the OK Black Conference and adds to their growing list of accomplishments this season. As the season progresses, Spring Lake continues to establish themselves as a formidable team, poised for more success in future competitions.
