Spring Lake Girls Swim Team Shines at Allegan Tigers Invitational, Secures 3rd Place Finish

The Spring Lake High School girls swim team delivered a strong performance at the Allegan Tigers Swimming and Diving Invitational, securing a 3rd place finish among eight competing schools. The invitational showcased the Lakers' depth and determination, with key contributions from swimmers across all grade levels. Junior Ellie Adams led the team with an impressive 18-point haul, showing her versatility and competitive edge in the water. Senior Hannah Brown added 13 points, further solidifying her leadership on the team. Junior Sophia Meyers followed closely behind with 15 points, demonstrating her consistent ability to compete at a high level. Several other Lakers swimmers added to the team’s success: senior Sadie Vander Heide contributed 9 points, while seniors Amaya Wiseman and Callie Rantanen each chipped in with 2 points. Senior Alana Mazurek and junior Alex Botbyl both scored 4 points, showing their valuable presence in the lineup. Freshman Ava Cervenak rounded out the team’s scoring, earning her first point in the invitational as a promising new addition to the squad. With a combination of seasoned upperclassmen and emerging talent, the Spring Lake girls swim team continues to make waves this season, setting the stage for even stronger performances in the meets to come.
