The JV volleyball team opened OK Conference play tonight at home against Unity Christian and lost in 2 sets with the scores of 23-25, 17-25. Nora Stahl led the team offensively with 7 kills. Kelsey Cohoon and Summer Schafer each had 2 service aces. Mari Nienhouse had 13 assists for the match. Sage Horton led the team defensively with 7 digs. Our overall record is now 3-4-1 and we are 0-1 in conference matches. The Lakers next matches will be Tuesday, September 10th at a double dual at Fruitport High School at 5pm.
