The Spring Lake High School girls varsity volleyball team faced a challenging day on the outdoor court in Grand Haven, coming up short in matches against three strong area teams. Despite their best efforts, the Lakers were defeated by Fruitport, Grand Haven, and Mona Shores. Against Fruitport, the Lakers struggled to find their rhythm, falling 17-25 and 15-25. The match against Grand Haven saw a similar outcome, with Spring Lake losing 12-25 and 20-25. The team’s final challenge of the day came against Mona Shores, where they were defeated 13-25 and 20-25. Despite the tough results, the outdoor setting provided a unique experience for the team, testing their adaptability and resilience.
