Boys Tennis keeps winning ways over Whitehall

The Spring Lake High School boys tennis team delivered a strong performance in their recent match against Whitehall, securing a decisive 6-2 victory. The Lakers showcased their dominance across both singles and doubles play, with notable wins in all but one singles match and three out of four doubles matchups. In singles, Hudson Braak and Veer Patel led the charge with commanding victories, each winning their matches 6-0, 6-0. Alex Dull also contributed to the team’s success with a solid 6-1, 6-2 win over Cameron Cook. Although Nate Pawlak fell to Evan Schuitema with scores of 6-3, 6-2, the team’s overall singles performance was strong. In doubles, Owen Malaski and Kody Vis secured a thrilling 7-6 (4), 7-5 win, while Drew Nash and Hale Phillips won 6-2, 6-3. Eddie and Ethan Brown also triumphed with a 6-2, 6-2 victory. The only doubles loss came from the No. 4 doubles team, where Weston Carpenter and James Priddy were defeated 6-2, 6-2. Overall, the Lakers' comprehensive victory reflects their depth and competitive edge, setting a positive tone for their upcoming matches.
