The Spring Lake High School girls golf team delivered a commanding performance at the first league jamboree of the season, clinching victory by a remarkable 15 strokes. Senior Zoe Dull led the way with an exceptional round of 34, finishing 2-under par to secure the top individual spot. Her stellar play was a key factor in the Lakers' dominant showing. Supporting Dull’s outstanding effort, the team demonstrated depth and consistency throughout the round. Junior Finlay Cousineau finished with a score of 50, while juniors Casey Ireland and Anna Bonney both posted scores of 46 and 49, respectively. Sophomore Reagan Bennett matched Ireland’s 46, and Junior Ellie Cavalier completed the team’s scorecard with a 52. This collective effort not only highlighted individual talent but also showcased the team’s strong performance as a unit. The Lakers' impressive margin of victory sets a positive tone for the rest of the season, positioning them as a formidable force in the league.
