The Spring Lake Lakers broke a scoreless tie with 4 runs in the top of the fifth inning and held on for a 4-1 Regional victory. The Lakers scored their four runs in very non traditional fashion.... 2 hits, 4 batters hit by pitch, a sacrifice bunt and a catcher's obstruction. Zach Schlepp had a two run single that dropped in extending the Spring Lake lead to 4-0. Schlepp, Jaden Core, Dayton Clark and Owen Smies had the Lakers 4 hits. Zane Stahl (8-2) pitched 5 1/3 innings allowing 2 hits and striking out 5. Maddux Kipling allowed 2 hits and struck out 3 in relief.
