In a District tune up for both teams, the Spring Lake Lakers came way with a 4-1 win over the Mona Shores Sailors. Gabe Trask and Will May led the Laker offense with two hits apiece. Jaden Core, Zane Stahl, Owen Smies and Alex Batka each added had a hit, while Batka added an RBI. Three Spring Lake pitchers got their final work in before District action. Zane Stahl went two innings allowing one hit and striking out 3, Maddux Kipling went 1 1/3 innings scattering 3 hits and striking out 2 and Oliver Smies pitched the final 3 2/3 innings allowing 3 hits and striking out 5.
