The Spring Lake Lakers scored 7 runs in the bottom of the first inning enroute to a 12-4 victory over the Ludington Orioles. Zach Schlepp had 2 hits, scored 3 runs and had 4 RBI's while Jaden Core added 2 hits. Gabe Trask had a hit and 2 RBI's and Oliver Smies, Will May and Maddux Kipling each scored twice. Jaden Core (2-0) in his first career start got the win, pitching a complete game striking out 4 and walking none.
