What a great night to be a Laker. Kicked it off with honoring our Seniors, and the girls wasted NO time getting things rolling. With possibly SL's fastest goal being scored in the first 3 seconds by Ella Andree off a ball from Clara Howe (off the kickoff)...the game never slowed down after that. We were so proud of the girls tonight. They fought and supported each other so well. We possessed and found feet to create great scoring opportunities from different places. It was a fun to watch, and great to see all of the girls getting in and playing tonight. Shutout tonight was recorded by keepers Senior Jessica Stewart, and London Holcomb. Goals tonight... 2 seconds after kickoff, an epic header goal from Senior Ella Andree off our kickoff play...a well placed ball from Clara Howe. This was the best start to a senior night we have ever had. (1-0) With 31:58 left in the first half, a perfectly placed free kick goal from Senior Clara Saunders. (2-0) With 25:35 left in the first half, another goal from Senior Ella Andree, with a great assist from Lauren Nicles. (3-0) With 22:52 left in the first half, goal from Senior Kyle Shelton off a great assist from Aveya Patino. (4-0) In the second half, with 27:48 left - another well placed free kick (this one a PK) from Senior Clara Saunders. (5-0) With 2:29 left to go - her third goal of the night...Senior Clara Saunders placed another PK perfectly past the keeper. (6-0) What a great night to be a Laker! Congratulations Seniors!
