Another great win for the girls tonight. This may have been one of our best possession games, as we controlled the ball the majority of the game. We were creative, found feet and communicated well...which resulted in 2 great goals, and a solid shutout from our defensive line as well. After scoring halfway through the first half, we were hungry for one more goal to seal the game off and it came with 15 seconds left. I was so proud of the way the girls fought and executed tonight. Our midfielders worked hard tonight, and have a lot to be proud of. A great week so far for the JV girls! Goals tonight came from... Alyssa Ellison with her first goal of the season, with 12 min left in the first half. Assist came from Aveya Patino, who's shot was batted by keeper and well placed in the back of the net by Alyssa. Second goal came in the last 15 seconds of the game from Baylee Andree. Assist started with a great ball threaded through the RP defense from Macey Subka to Lexi Kotkowicz...who's left footed shot was too hot to handle, and Baylee was in perfect position to finish after the keeper's touch. Keeper Ava Nardin and the D line came away with another shutout victory tonight.
