Varsity vs LOWELL SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL (8 - 7) Win The Lakers traveled to Lowell tonight to take on the 9-1 Red Arrows. It was a defensive battle in the first with the Lakers scoring the lone goal. Lowell got the scoring going in the 2nd quarter and held a 4-2 lead at halftime. In the third quarter the teams battled blow for blow and each team netted 3 goals to give Lowell a 7-5 advantage going into the fourth. The Lakers rallied in the fourth scoring 3 goals, the last one to take the lead with 2:45 remaining in the game and held on to the tight victory 8-7. Sam Schafer and CR Holmes each netted 3 goals on the night, Isaac Schaal had one goal, one assist and Cash Holmes had one goal. The win brings the Lakers to 7-5 on the season and 4-3 in the conference with two more conference games left to play. On Tuesday, May 7th the Lakers host Holland Christian for the last regular season game where we'll honor our 12 seniors.
