The Spring Lake Lakers traveled to Grand Rapids West Catholic and had their bats silenced! The Lakers who average 10 runs per game were shutout in a 2-0 loss. Oliver Smies had two hits while Gabe Trask reached base twice with a hit and a walk and Zach Schlepp had a double. Maddux Kipling (3-2) pitched a great game suffering the loss striking out 6 and allowing only one earned run.
