After being swept in a doubleheader on Monday by the Coopersville Broncos, the Spring Lake Lakers got back in the win column with a 19-4 five inning thrashing. Spring Lake pounded out 17 hits with many Lakers having big nights at the plate. Oliver Smies and Zane Stahl each had three hits, scored three runs and had three RBI's. Alex Batka also had three hits and scored twice. Gabe Trask and Will May each added two hits while Trask had 3 RBI's. Owen Smies hit a two-run homer in the third inning and finished with two hits and 3 RBI's. Will May (2-0) got the win throwing five innings scattering seven hits and striking out four.
