Varsity vs HUDSONVILLE HIGH SCHOOL (9 - 8) Win The Lakers traveled to Hudsonville tonight to take on the Eagles and came away with a 9-8 OT thrilling victory. This was the third overtime game of the young season and brings the Lakers to 4-2 on the season and 3-0 in the conference. The Lakers rallied from a 3-4 halftime deficit, evened things after the 3rd quarter, swapped pairs of goals in the 4th before Sam Schafer buried the rock early on in Overtime. Landon O'Donnell had 3 goals, Sam Schafer and Gage Isard each had 2 goals, 1 assist, CR Holmes and Jack Brown each had 1 goal and Cash Holmes had 2 assists. Brody Boodt and Hale Phillips each played a half in the cage and did a masterful job in the net. Next up for the team is Zeeland on Thursday at home.
