Varsity vs GRAND HAVEN HIGH SCHOOL (17 - 4) Win The Varsity Lakers hosted the Buccaneers from Grand Haven on a rainy night at The Yard. Grand Haven scored first on the night but the Laker offense got things rolling and ended the quarter up 5-2, kept things going in the 2nd and headed into halftime up 11-3. The second half was more of the same and finished 17-4. Oscar Anderson dominated the faceoffs and won 14 of 17 faceoffs on the night. Eight Lakers scored in the game, Landon O'Donnell led the team with 4 goals, 1 assist, Sam Schafer had 3 goals, 1 assist, Isaac Schaal had 2 goals, 3 assists, Cash Holmes had 2 goals, 1 assist, CR Holmes had 2 goals, Gage Isard had 2 assists, Jack Brown had 1 goal, 1 assist, Evan Wahl had 1 goal, Ryan Fisher had 1 goal. The Lakers move to 3-1 on the season and 2-0 in conference play. Next up for the Lakers are the Hawks of Forest Hills Eastern on Saturday at FHE at 10:45am.
