Most superstitious people feel Friday the 13th is a bad luck day, but for the Spring Lake Lakers the past two Fridays, Friday the 19th and Friday the 26th have been bad enough. Last week Friday the Lakers lost three year starter Eli Morrison (12 ppg) to an ankle injury, who has missed the past three games and now tonight the Lakers lost leading scorer, Zach Schlepp (15 ppg) early in the second half also to an ankle injury and he did not return. In the end, Spring Lake could not keep up with league leading Unity Christian losing 67-49. Picking up the scoring slack for the Lakers were Colin Burt with 12 points, Jaden Core with 12 and Karson George with 10.
