Freshman vs FRUITPORT HIGH SCHOOL The Spring Lake girls freshman basketball team made the trip over to Fruitport on Thursday evening, coming home with a convincing 33-9 victory. Leading the Lakers in scoring were Nora Stahl and Mari Nienhouse with 8 points each. Addison Baker scored 5 and Bella Zervas chipped in with 4. Ari Didomenico also added a bucket. Macy Subka , Calleigh Fogel, Chloe Dekkenga and Addie Bench all were strong on defense. Next up for the Lakers is a road game against Coopersville on Tuesday. Tip off is at 4pm.
