The Spring Lake Lakers had a great defensive effort tonight in defeating the Traverse City St. Francis Gladiators 54-32. The Lakers turned a first quarter deficit into a 13 point halftime lead after shutting out the Gladiators in the second quarter. Eli Morrison filled the Spring Lake stat sheet with 13 points, 4 steals and 4 assists. Jaden Core chipped in with 12 points and a team high 8 rebounds. Colin Burt, Zach Schlepp and Wren Dephouse scored 9, 8 and 7 points respectively. Spring Lake will play Petoskey tomorrow at 4:00 at Grand Haven High school.
