Christian In the Battle of D3 State Ranked Teams the Spring Lake Lakers came out on top with Wins over State Ranked Otsego (10) and Gr. Christian (5)! The Lakers used their Team Depth to help secure the wins tonight. The Team swam to 26 Personal Record Swims, 6 MISCA Cut Times and took First Place in four events. Leading the way for the Lakers was the Lakers 200 Medley Relay (Graham Porter-Nathan Navarre-Johnny Wachter-Noah Fletcher 1:47.42 MISCA Cut. Johny Wachter (22.83) and Noah Fletcher (22.97) went 1-2 in the 50 Free with MISCA Cut Times respectively. The 200 Free Relay of Noah Fletcher-Kyle Eacker-Alex Stauss-Johnny Wachter took first with a MISCA Cut Time of 1:36.32. Noah Fletcher took 100 Free with a MISCA Cut Time of 51,29 just missing at a State cut by .10. I was very proud of the guys and how swam tonight in our first dual meet and early big test. Tonight, gives us a great starting point for the whole team and gives us a lot of options for future swim meets.
