Spring Lake Girls Varsity vs Fremont (54 - 32) Win The Spring Lake Varsity Girls traveled to Fremont for the season opener and came home with a 54-32 victory.  The Lakers jumped out to a 36-11 lead at the half and then cruised from there. The Lakers were led by Ella Andree with 16 points (including five 3-pointers) and 4 assists.  Alexa Carter also had 16 points (with two 3-points), while Tessa Britt added 8 points and 5 rebounds.  Bethany Zimmerman put up 6 points and grabbed 8 rebounds, while Ellie Wrona chipped in with 6 points (including one 3-pointer). Spring Lake is 1-0 and will travel to Zeeland East on Friday. Fremont is 0-1 on the season.
