The home team Ludington Orioles got off to a hot first quarter start nailing five three pointers enroute to a 21-12 first quarter lead. Spring Lake got things going in the second quarter out scoring the hosts 18-5, taking a 30-26 lead into halftime. A back and forth third quarter saw Ludington regain the lead 44-42 heading into the fourth and final quarter. The visiting Lakers made enough free throws down the stretch to pull out a 58-53 road victory. Zach Schlepp led the Spring Lake scoring attack with 18 points including 9-10 from the free-throw line.
