Spring Lake's cross country program delivered impressive performances today at Forest Hills Eastern; nearly every runner on both teams ran either a season-best or personal-best time on a challenging course. Congrats! Girls Team Evie McCormick led the girls' squad, finishing 5th overall with a time of 13:15.83. Close behind, Audrey Shields finished 6th overall with a time of 13:18.28. Breeze Hunt placed 18th overall with a time of 14:54.44. Isabelle Mastenbrook finished 22nd overall with a performance of 15:25.88. Alice Herrygers secured 24th place overall with a time of 15:32.45. Emma Emrich finished 27th overall with a time of 15:36.86, and Elizabeth Teasley rounded out the top seven with a 39th place finish and a time of 16:25.98. Boys Team Remy Tiles led the entire meet, finishing 1st overall with an impressive time of 11:36.07. Henry Baerman placed 11th overall for the boys with a time of 12:45.62. Talen Tidswell finished 21st overall with a solid performance of 13:19.70. Ethan Hillman secured 23rd place overall with a time of 13:22.40. Johnny Meyer placed 24th overall with a time of 13:26.69. Henry Wierzbicki finished 34th overall with a time of 14:06.54, and Ben Chittenden rounded out the top seven runners with a 37th place finish and a time of 14:17.23.
