Spring Lake (4-9-2) defeated Holland (1-7) by a 5-3 score on September 14th, splitting the singles matches before taking three of four doubles contests. Holland claimed the top two singles positions, with Floyd Webb defeating Spring Lake’s Alex Dull 6-2, 6-4 at No. 1 and Victor Oszi earning a 7-5, 6-2 victory over James Priddy at No. 2. Spring Lake responded at No. 3 singles, where Landry McManus beat Carter Martin 6-4, 6-1, while Pranay Patel completed the singles turnaround with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Sam Bordenkircher. The closest doubles match came at No. 2, where Spring Lake’s Colin Barendse (5-10) and Everett Brown (4-10) edged Holland’s Sam Huizenga (1-12) and Keegan Welsh (1-12) 7-6 (4), 6-4. At No. 4 doubles, Carson Maloney (3-8) and Kasen Nevins (3-3) outlasted Holland’s Elias Baer (1-12) and Urijah Cuellar (1-9) 6-1, 2-6, 6-2 in three sets.
