At No. 1 singles, Spring Lake’s Alex Dull controlled the opening court with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Sparta’s Isaiah Sheckler. Landry McManus added another key point at No. 3 singles, rebounding from a 0-6 first set to beat Oliver Jacques 0-6, 6-3, 10-6, while Sparta’s Evan Wood held off James Priddy 6-3, 5-7, 10-7 at No. 2 singles in one of the afternoon’s closest matches. Spring Lake also delivered at No. 1 doubles, where Pranay Patel and Alex Richards outlasted Grayson Falconer and Jack Hohendorf 6-1, 3-6, 10-3 after dropping the second set. Sparta’s Luke Warwick and Reyly Zavala-Morales responded with a 7-6 (8), 6-2 win at No. 2 doubles, and the match ended with the teams splitting the final two courts.
