The girls overcame a lot of setbacks tonight to get a great win. Injuries, sickness, and lower numbers didn't stop them from executing our game plan and connecting well on the field. Our defense was solid, even with new faces back there playing positions they've never played. Ava Nardin (11) and Mary Russell (9) both had great halves and recorded the shutout tonight. With 22:06 left in the first half, after a handball in the box - Macy Subka (11) scored on a PK. Then with 9:30 left in the second half, Ellie Cavalier (12) scored off an assist from Izzy Smies (10). Final score 2-0.
