Varsity vs FOREST HILLS CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL (11 - 7) Win The Lady Lakers lacrosse team traveled to Forest Hills Central on Wednesday evening and pulled out a 11-7 victory. With the win the Lakers improve to 12-3 on the season. The Lakers started slowly and were down 6-2, but Spring Lake rallied and went on a 9-1 run to close out the game. Leading the Lakers in scoring was Micah Gawronski with 3 goals and an assist. Ava Lisman added 3 goals while Sierra Lukas added 2 goals and many much needed wins on the draw circle. Adding single goals were Addy Laug, Charlotte Murphy and Brooke Stephenson. Lexi Baker added 3 assists while Murphy chipped in with 2 assists. The Lakers were led on defense by Charlie VanHarken, Emily Riemersma and Addison Baker. Elena Robinson was stellar in goal making many key saves. Next up for the Lakers is our senior night game vs Bryon Center on Friday. Game starts at 7pm.
